      2. Creating Documentation: Designed a series of training manuals and train the trainer manuals for ASU PsyD’s for Mercy Healthcare.
      3. At PayPal I enjoyed learning to use the on boarding software system as an LMS.

  6. What are some things that you have done particularly well in your work or in which you have achieved the greatest success?
    1. Adobe Software Training helping others learn and seeing their faces light up when they get it.
    2. Provided training to over 200 companies over a 10 year period.
    3. Building an LMS system called Learn-u.com
    4. Authoring a Photoshop DVD for Learnkey, which was sold worldwide
    5. Being a technical editor on a PhotoShop book, published by Macmillan Publishing
    6. Completing my Masters Degree in Education Technology with a concentration in Instructional Design.
    7. Building a network of 200 dealers in 20 months

  11. What special aspects of your education or training have prepared you for this job?
    1. I chose the Masters in Education Technology since I worked in corporate training for many years.
    2. I specifically chose the Instructional Design concentration since I enjoy many skills around it, such as:
      1. Layout and Design whether print or online
      2. Bringing training online
      3. Coupling my graphic design degree with my corporate training skills
  12. Tell us about a decision that was made by a manager that negatively impacted you; what was the decision and how did you handle it?
    1. I had a manager that suggested I use one software over another for a particular project. At first, to appease my manager I used the software, but when running into issues. I showed the manager how you could use another software to achieve the desired goal.
  13. You are teaching a course in a lab setting and there is a student who is not understanding the material being covered and is slowing the course down. The other class members are visibly frustrated. How do you handle this situation?
    1. When working in a large class with a varied audience such as a mix of beginners and advanced users. I notice you only go as fast as the slowest person in the class. So to move things along,
      1. I may suggest that some questions will be answered along the way if we can keep moving forward.
      2. That anything not answered can be answered after class.
      3. That if I don’t have an answer, I will research it and email them the answer.
      4. That I can do one-on-one trainings with anyone needing further help.

      1. I am comfortable working in remote positions, as I am self-disciplined and reliable with deadlines. I am used to doing it with contract work. (i.e. American Express, BCBS, etc.)
      2. I am also comfortable going into an office working with a team (i.e. PayPal, Schwab, etc.)
